INDIANAPOLIS (May 5, 2020) — TechPoint, the nonprofit, industry-led growth initiative for Indiana’s technology ecosystem, will announce the 2020 Mira Award winners live on a special broadcast of its 21st annual gala, with presenting sponsors Eli Lilly and Company, Genesys, Infosys, Raytheon and Salesforce. The Mira Awards is the state’s largest and longest-running technology excellence and innovation recognition program, and the annual gala celebrates the “The Best of Tech in Indiana.” Last year a sell-out crowd of 1,400 people attended the black-tie affair. AgriNovus Indiana names Mitch Frazier president and CEO

INDIANAPOLIS (April 29, 2020) — AgriNovus Indiana has announced that, after a national search, Mitch Frazier, CEO of regional John Deere retailer Reynolds Farm Equipment, has been named its new president and CEO. Frazier will begin his new role on June 29 for the agbiosciences initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP). Prior to Reynolds, he served as vice president of Marketing at TinderBox and as vice president of Marketing and Investor Relations Officer at ExactTarget. $9.1 billion of capital accessed by Indiana life sciences companies in 2019

INDIANAPOLIS (April 22, 2020) – BioCrossroads today released a new report which details the sources and amounts of capital supporting Indiana’s life sciences sector in 2019. An impressive $9.1 billion in capital was accessed by Indiana life sciences companies in 2019: $8.6 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants were awarded to 21 companies; $177 million in venture capital was invested in 37 companies; $178.7 million was accessed through public markets by two companies; and, More than $8.7 billion was spent to acquire innovation, representing eight transactions. Conexus Indiana partners with IN-MaC and 180 Skills to offer online manufacturing and logistics courses to high school students

INDIANAPOLIS (April 21, 2020) Conexus Indiana today announced it is partnering with 180 Skills, an online provider of manufacturing, logistics and employability skills training, to offer 1,500 Indiana high school students access to 180 Skills’ online library as they continue their learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Purdue University’s IN-MaC (Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center) is also a partner in the effort and is sharing the resource with additional audiences throughout the state.
