AgriNovus Indiana announces changes, additions to its Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS (March 18, 2021) — AgriNovus Indiana, an initiative to fuel growth in Indiana’s agbioscience economy, announced today the addition of three new members to its board of directors. The board unanimously approved the seat change of Dr. Scott Holmstrom, vice president of Product Development and Innovation Regulatory at Elanco and Megan Ritter, executive director of administration at Indiana Farm Bureau, to the board. INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 2, 2021) – AgriNovus Indiana, a non-profit initiative focused on growing Indiana’s agbioscience economy, announced today its Spring 2021 class of Field Atlas ambassadors to spark conversation about agbiosciences on university and college campuses across Indiana. Field Atlas ambassadors are college students selected to serve as on-campus connectors between students, professors and academic advisors and the Field Atlas career exploration platform (myFieldAtlas.com). The ambassadors will provide information about career paths, companies and fields of study in the agbioscience industry. AgriNovus Indiana announces winner of first-ever Producer-Led Innovation Challenge

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 11, 2020) — AgriNovus Indiana, an initiative focused on growing Indiana’s agbioscience economy, today announced the Benton Group from Ambia, Ind. in partnership with iYOTAH Solutions, as the winning team of its Producer-Led Innovation Challenge, awarding them $25,000 provided by Purdue Foundry. The Producer-Led Innovation Challenge, presented by Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Soybean Alliance, was designed to create new solutions that solve critical gaps in farm management software, as identified by Indiana producers. AgriNovus Indiana study shows agbiosciences contributes $39 billion to Indiana economy

INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 12, 2020) — AgriNovus Indiana, an initiative focused on growing Indiana’s agbioscience economy, today released a comprehensive study that found the sector directly contributes more than $39 billion to the state’s economy. AgriNovus Indiana expands its team

INDIANAPOLIS (May 26, 2020) — AgriNovus Indiana, the state’s initiative to promote and accelerate the growth of the agbioscience sector, is expanding its team with several new additions to support its growing public education and awareness, and talent efforts. Cayla Chiddister joins AgriNovus as content manager and will continue the creation, development and promotion of Indiana’s agbioscience story through multiple channels. Previously, Chiddister served in broadcast and marketing roles with Hoosier Ag Today and Cumulus Media, starting her on-air career in New Castle, Ind. Most recently, she served on the media experiences team at The Simon Property Group. Chiddister has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University. AgriNovus has also added several contractors to the team to help with the expansion of some of its key programs.
