INDIANAPOLIS (March 16, 2020) - Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) does not have any confirmed cases of COVID-19, but in an abundance of caution we have decided to take additional measures to ensure our risk remains low and to respond to community calls for social distancing that can help block additional spread of the virus. CICP has closed its offices but is continuing operations, as employees work from home. When making these difficult decisions, we continue to take into consideration guidelines from the Indiana State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control, along with recommendations from the City of Indianapolis, the State of Indiana, and our stakeholders. 16 Tech partners with 1776 on Innovation Hub

National incubation network and innovation management provider 1776 has formed a partnership with 16 Tech Community Corporation to help establish a 100,000-plus square foot innovation hub in the 16 Tech Innovation District located within the Indiana Avenue Cultural District near downtown Indianapolis. The 16 Tech Innovation Hub will open in early 2021. The 16 Tech Innovation Hub, currently under construction, is an adaptive reuse of the former headquarters of the Indianapolis Water Company. Among them, is a planned $14.5 million, 350-foot bridge that will span Fall Creek. “It really symbolizes the connectivity between people and ideas that’s at the heart of the mission of the 16 Tech Innovation District,” said Krueger, who notes the bridge will link the 50 acre district with neighborhoods, trails and assets in and around IUPUI and the Indiana University School of Medicine. Central Indiana Corporate Partnership celebrates 20 years of impact in Central Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (September 4, 2019) – The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) was formed in 1999 and today, 20 years later, it is celebrating the many milestones that have been achieved by strategically bringing together the chief executives of Central Indiana’s prominent corporations, private foundations and universities to positively impact the economy, workforce and quality of life in Central Indiana. In the 1980s and 1990s, one significant growth strategy in Indianapolis was the promotion of the city as an amateur athletics center. The move of the NCAA headquarters to Indianapolis in 1999 was a major outcome of this strategy and a huge win for the region.
