The 22nd annual TechPoint Mira Awards once again highlighted the innovative work being done in the Indiana tech sector. The awards honored 112 nominees with 16 awards. This year, several of the winners were recognized for their ability to pivot their businesses during a pandemic. The Mira Awards is the state's largest and longest running technology awards program, recognizing the "Best of Tech" in Indiana. Recently, Inside INdiana Business featured several of the winners. TechPoint expands popular Xtern talent program to Muncie

July 28, 2020 — On Friday, July 31, TechPoint, the nonprofit, industry-led growth accelerator for Indiana’s technology companies, and Governor Eric Holcomb will announce the winners of the TechPoint Summer Opportunities for Students Challenge (S.O.S.). The Challenge, provided up to 500 students from Indiana colleges and universities a five-week summer internship experience, helping them strengthen their resumes, demonstrate skills, make professional connections and develop potential solutions to a number of COVID-19-related problems. The student teams were assigned “coaches” from a pool of 200 volunteers from the Indiana tech community. Early indications show that nearly 4,000 people tuned into the first-ever virtual event, making it the largest Mira Awards gala celebration in history.
