Employers in the agbioscience sector now have the opportunity to reach high-level talent through the AgriNovus Indiana job board. In partnership with ISDA and Farm Credit Mid-America, the job board connects from early career to senior level talent to opportunities available in Indiana and with Indiana-based agbiosciences companies.
“To continue growing Indiana’s agbioscience economy, we must work together across our industry to attract the world-class talent Indiana companies need to fuel growth and innovation,” said Mitch Frazier, president and CEO, of AgriNovus. “The new AgriNovus job board provides Indiana’s first digital destination for agbioscience jobseekers and employers to find, post and search for agbioscience jobs – from internships to career positions.”
Through talent development and Field Atlas work, employers within the sector and job-seekers have expressed interest in having a one-stop shop for agbioscience job opportunities.
Launched in September 2020, Field Atlas allows students to explore cutting-edge careers and find opportunities that align with their personal and professional interests. Innovation in the agbioscience sector has created cutting-edge jobs, with 75,000 open positions ready to be filled by high-demand talent. Field Atlas was designed to connect students to these opportunities, to provide content on the agbioscience sector and to deliver that information in a way that students want to be reached.
The job board allows users to filter by:
- Level of experience – early career (Field Atlas) or mid to senior level (AgriNovus)
- Employment status (i.e. full-time, part-time, contract, etc.)
- What type of opportunity they are seeking – from traditional agbioscience jobs to allied roles as well
“Indiana’s agbioscience sector continues to experience rapid growth and with that comes the need for premiere talent ranging from veterinary research to plant science,” said Aaron Schacht, Executive Vice-President, Innovation, Regulatory and Business Development at Elanco and AgriNovus Indiana Board Chair. “Having the tools in place for agbioscience companies to place positions and connect with professionals who want to succeed in an innovative and rewarding industry only helps in advancing Indiana’s agbioscience sector.”
